@nutchapabha It’s that smell. Some people are okay with it, some have a fetishistic love of it, others just can’t stand it. Zimmern and I just happen to fall into that later category. It’s just hard to get into eating something that smells like a homeless zombie in July.

The rambutan is actually very good. If u get a fresh one it is very sweet and juicy.

you call the hairy fruit is “Ngoa = เงาะ” in Thai language. Almost of Andrew’s bizarre food in Thailand is the traditional food of northeastern of Thailand. It isn’t normally Thai food because Thai food culture in central, east, north and south have been only take vegetable and fish for long time ago. and pork eating tradition just have been starting about King RAMA V of Chakri dynasty.
