Pakistan The Beautiful | Multan, the city of Saints, has given place to some of the most renowned Saints of Islam. Baha-Ud-Din Zakria & His descendants are one of them. The Tomb of Both of them are extremely beautiful. This Video shows the Mausoleums of Sheikh Baha-ud-Din Zakria & His Son, & Mausoleum of Shah Rukn-e-Alam (Sheikh’s Grandson). A glimpse of Shams Tabraiz’s Mausoleum is also there but due to filming/Photography being banned inside, the inner part could not be filmed. ____________________________ Pakistan The Beautiful is a series of travels by me of various parts of our beautiful country Pakistan. Question by daffidol: How much $ US would I need for a months travel in SE ASIA?
I’m travelling to SE Asia landing in Bangkok in July. I was wondering for those of you who have been and did Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia roughly how much could you spend on a budget where you are not into the large scale tourist sights and tours? My friend and I would like it to be cheap and we are happy to take buses, share hostel rooms and eat cheap. Any advice??

I can’t answer for Laos and Cambodia (I have only been to Thailand and Vietnam).

If you are going to eat on the cheap and stay in cheap places with a shared room/bed, I would count on $ 50 a day in Vietnam, and $ 75 a day in Thailand. You will be able to do it for much cheaper, but this way you know you will have plenty of money and can stay in a decent area of town.
