@indianajones34 I went in 2008 on a school trip and we used the shinkansen a lot since we went to heaps of places. I’m sure we went normal and it was good. Im not sure how much the green class costs but if you don’t want to waste money then don’t bother since regular is comfortable anyway.

@indianajones34 Depends on what you are used to. Normal class is pretty good in Japan especially since most trips are quite short as it is a small country. If you were asking the same thing for countries like Indonesia I would definitely say take the upgrade though;)
