Question by WIsp: Travel Europe?
I want to go to Europe, I don’t care which country i start in. I am then going to backpack around Europe and visit different countries, I am also planning to get short term work as I travel around.

I am an 18m Australian, been trying to find this out for ages and can’t get a straight answer.

Email me if you are thinking of travelling Europe and need a buddy, have done this before or have additional info.

First thing you may need is a hostel membership its easy to find these places and i know here in Germany there are a few that are even in castles. The run from 7 euro to 10 euro.

Be careful how much money you bring the Euro is strong right now and life can get a bit expensive around here…in the U.K. just forget it the pound is is double that of most other currencys.

Europe is suprisingly safe compared to the US to travel on mass transit with so youll be spending alot of time on trains but dont worry they are confortable and clean…all in all very pleasent to travel in.

Enjoy Europe bro and have fun…get a passport and as for as Visa’s go i would just contact my embassy they will know what you need.

maybe a bit late now for you now, expex20, but i would advise using a specialist forex broker as they charge less than the front end currency exchanges at banks, airports and shopping malls in terms of commission, also if you have the 5000 usd currency, and the currency you want to convert it too now is at an all time low, then you might as well buy the currency. And if you dont spend it all you may be able to sell it later for a higher price. shop around for the best rate, dont just dive in :)

@expex20 There’s conversion charts or even applications online for that kinds of stuff. Type in google “Currency Convertors”.
