Question by Trillian: The best way to travel Europe on a budget?
I am a recently graduated 18 year old, and me and my two friends would love to travel to Europe.. and beyond! However since none are very experienced travelers (Canadians who have only really done the “tropical family vacation”) we are clueless as to where to start!.
We would love to find a guided tour aimed for young adventurous people. I know such things exist, but is there a specific company/agency we should go through? Bonuses would be an affordable trip that lasts 3-5 months…

I was in Gent in the early 80s. Beautiful city and friendly people. Old folk then were bit racist. The young were O.K. Miss some old friends, Beata, Vik, Evan, Stefan, and other students of gent university. Hamdan Malaysia

Gent is a super nice city. Walking, riding a bicycle, rowing.. eating, photography. But yes, watch your bicycle it is a local sport or rather national sport to steal bikes and sometimes dump them in the canals… there is not a nicer city than Gent, locals are great and some not locals are learning… Enjoy Gent!

@ttttine I was in Uni in Ghent. I studied a semster in Germany and the difference was amazing. Ghent was just a terrible time maybe I got really unlucky and maybe the summer semester would have been better but yea it could have been a bad year because all my friends could not wait to leave. It was unlucky but hey that’s life
@h0pje We were told it has one of the worst petty crimes in western Europe. My bike and laptop were stolen. I am just saying what I and all the people i knew experienced
