I live in England and from my experience most (if not all) European cars (even ones made by American manufacturers like Ford) have mph and kph marked on the speedo so it’s probably best not to freak out would-be tourists by telling them they need to do quick maths to work out if they are breaking the law or not!

heard from a friend that came from the Netherlands to Germany and he said it took almost 100km until he realized that the city “Ausfahrt” isn’t a city but the exit ^^

@sestrensaz That is in England mate.
At least in Portugal, Spain and France, all the cars come only in kph. Tourists would still not have a problem, because both the speedometer of the car and the signs are in kph. They would only need to do the math to satisfy their own curiosity.
