Sorry to hear you broke your record of no deaths dudes…
youre still the company I plan on doing this ride with when I get there tho.
Must have felt gut wrenching to lose a customer after so many safe years.
I guess it was just a matter of time and luck…

i am glad i am a road biker and not a mountain biker…..if people are looking for a thrill they can always cut their balls off ……that probably be just as exciting

besamemucho5 … don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. Funnily enough the whole ride is on A ROAD… as such most serious mountain bikers do not consider this ride challenging enough. However for the backpacker or adventure traveler it is GREAT FUN, not at all akin to chopping ones balls off …

You guys say that you started this business in 1999 right ?
and i know a company who started that in 1995, so, logically they’re the first, nope ?

Gravity commercialized the road in mid-’98 and were riding every day except Monday’s from ’99. During all of ’98 and all of ’99 we never saw any other business riding the road. We have heard claims of people saying they were the first as early as ’80. The reality is that WE were the 1st to turn this ride into a real business. Just because someone else rode a few times a year with a few customers doesn’t make them “first”… at anything other than NOT making a full success of this opportunity.
