I am planing to go for a 4-6 month long trip staring at mexico and covering all of south america, jamaica and cuba.
I dont want to stay in posh hotels just clean and safe basic guest house/hostel
instead i would love to spend my money on local cuisine and drinks , and party at the happening night clubs.
What would be the estimate cost for this (in dollars) and any website for refference

4 to 6 months? that’s a long time. It depends of course, but you’re talking about drinking and going to clubs. That’s expensive. I would say not less than $ 25,000. Not counting air travel.

Very useful tips! For a traveling video, I would have also included getting a prepaid cell phone — especially if you are going out of the country. I bought a TracFone cell phone when I went to Australia. I can call home for the price of a local call. There are over 60 participating countries. Definitely something you should look into if you are traveling.
