I don’t know about a bus pass for South America because there are not much cooperation of that nature. However, when I covered the entire continent from US border to the very tip, my main transportation was by bus except through the Darin Straight of Panama.
Use the latest version of ‘South American Handbook’ or any other publications by ‘Lonely Planet’

I had the dragon beard candy when I was a kid in Hong Kong! I was told that it was a traditional Chinese dessert, but didn’t realize Koreans have it too. I guess the cultures really are similar. The fillings look different though.
Hope I will get a chance to visit Seoul someday! It looks like a fun city to be in!
